Returns & Warranty
Returns & Exchanges
Each Atelier’s Alley piece is made individually, for one person. Because of that, all sales are final.
- Returns and refunds are not offered on made-to-order, custom, or limited-production pieces.
- Exchanges are not offered unless a piece arrives with a verified manufacturing defect.
- Any issue must be reported within 72 hours of delivery, with clear photographs for assessment.
Craftsmanship Warranty

- Lifetime complimentary cleaning and inspections, to keep your piece in top condition.
- Free tightening of any loose stones during inspections.
- Free replacement of up to four small side stones if they chip or fall out. After that, $50 per stone.
- Your first resizing is complimentary. Each resizing after that is $100.

What the warranty covers
- Structural integrity of settings
- Stone security relating to setting workmanship
- Solder joints and assembly from the original construction
If a craftsmanship issue arises, the piece is assessed and repaired at no cost for labour.
What the warranty does not cover
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Damage from accidents, impact, or improper care
- Lost or stolen stones
- Scratches, dents, or surface wear
- Damage resulting from work carried out by another jeweler
A note on resizing
Most rings can be safely resized up or down two sizes. Some designs cannot be resized in the usual way, including eternity bands, fully pavé-set bands and other intricate settings, and instead need the ring to be recast. If your design falls into that category, I will tell you before your order is placed.
Should a recast ever be needed, you only pay for the labour. The gold from your original ring is credited toward the new piece, and you are not charged again for materials or for the design.
Repair process
- Get in touch before sending any piece in for repair.
- All warranty work is subject to inspection and approval.
- Shipping costs to and from the workshop are the customer’s responsibility.
- If a repair falls outside the warranty, you will get an estimate before anything proceeds.
This warranty reflects how these pieces are made. They come back to the person who built them, for as long as that person is at the bench.
